These services assure effective establishment and maintenance of the radiation protection program including:

 

• Occupational and  general public dose modeling and accident consequence analysis and evaluation.

• Environmental assessments, including authorized limits analysis, according to DOE Order 458.1. Evaluate environmental radiation protection plans to ensure protection of the public and environment in accordance with DOE Order 458.1; 10 CFR 20, and the clients regulatory commitments.

• Controllers/evaluators of radiation protection, first responders, mutual aide, and local hospital medical staff for emergency management and regulatory graded exercises.

• Technical basis documents development and independent peer reviews of client generated documents.

​

• Radiological analytical data evaluation and validation, including alpha and gamma spectroscopy, liquid scintillation counting, and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.

​

• Technical reviews in support of radiological data collection, evaluation, and dose assessment.  Support includes determination of extent and isotopic distribution of residual contamination and development of radiological survey and sampling plans and summary reports based on MARSSIM and MARSAME concepts.

• Root Cause Analysis (including Failure Mode and Effective Analysis) and Corrective Action development and implementation.
