Nuclear Quality Specialists, LLC provides ASME NQA-1 qualified nuclear lead auditor services to client facilities to perform internal audits, independent assessments (including operation readiness reviews), and self-assessments to evaluate the quality system for compliance with the applicable regulations, codes, and standards.  These regulations, codes, and standards include NQA-1; 10 CFR 50, Appendix B; 10 CFR 830, Subpart A; 10 CFR 21; DOE Order O 414.1D; and the facility's internal quality program requirements.

 

NQS provides NQA-1 lead auditors to clients to perform supplier nuclear audits and commercial grade surveys of items and services to evaluate the supplier's quality system for inclusion on the client's approved supplier's list.

 

Based upon client needs, NQS's lead auditors work either individually, as an independent team, or as audit team leaders for client auditors seeking NQA-1 lead auditor qualification, requalification, or those seeking more auditing experience.

 

Because NQS's lead auditors are highly qualified with a wide range of technical degrees and experiences, technical experts are not normally needed. However, the client may provide technical specialists at the client's discretion to ensure the adequacy of the technical aspects of the supplier's program.
