Richard DiLaura has over thirty five years of quality assurance experience in the nuclear industry and is the Quality Manager for NQS. His experience includes developing and implementing various quality assurance programs, plans, and operating procedures; monitoring project work quality; and developing and coordinating quality records.  He served as the plant's surveillance program coordinator of a former Fortune 500 company. Additionally, Richard has extensive experience planning and directing project inspections; reviewing INPO (SER's and SOER's) significant events and plant LER's for applicability to four nuclear units in the Northeast; performing evaluations and observations as part of an independent safety evaluation group;  providing quality support for regulatory application flowdown requirements; and interfacing with clients on quality related issues.

Richard is a certified ASME NQA-1 lead auditor and performs nuclear industry audits. His cross-functional, hands-on experience and quality management skills further strengthens his expertise in all aspects of quality organizational performance.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology and is a former member of the United States Navy where he served in nuclear power as an electrician's mate in the Nuclear Engineering field.
